This is a set of 4 chairs though nowhere in the description does it say so, nor does it tell you if the chair back is padded or not (it's not). The chair does feels sturdy. Each chair is quite heavy too. The color did not look like the color on my computer. On my computer the color looks like a light blue gray. The actual chair is more of a green/brown gray. This review is from: Alera FC94VY40G Steel Folding Chair with Padded Seat, Gray (Kitchen) I am highly impressed with these chairs. The set was the cheapest I could find that had any padding. For that reason, I expected the padding to be more for show (a bit of plastic over a sliver of a pad) than for comfort. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened a chair for the first time to find a rather comfy (especially for a folding chair!) abundance of padding on the seat. I was also expecting a rather shoddily-constructed frame. What I found was the complete opposite. Where many folding chairs first fail is in the little piece of metal that acts somewhat as a pivot connecting the front legs to the back legs. Instead of just a single piece of metal on each side, these chairs are reinforced with two pieces on each side, sandwiching the legs between them. I have great confidence that these chairs will last!
